More than $1,000 worth of items were reported stolen from an eastern Saline County residence on Wednesday.
Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander said Thursday that sometime between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, someone entered the backdoor of a residence in the 5200 block of East North Street. The residents returned home about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to find the following items missing, he said.
- A purple Galaxy 9 cellphone
- A Jimenez 380 pistol
- A Hi-Point 9mm handgun
- Two soft pistol cases (one pink, one brown)
- A six-inch Galaxy tablet
- A CenterPoint Tyro 50-pound crossbow and arrows
Melander said the total loss was estimated at slightly more than $1,000.
There was no sign of forced entry, he said.
