A fire early Sunday morning at an implement dealership south of Salina that destroyed a large field sprayer is still undetermined.

Saline County Sheriff Glen Kochanowski said deputies were sent to Straub International, 3637 S.9th around 2am to the report of equipment on fire.

When the arrived they found a Case I-H field sprayer fully engulfed in fire.

The Salina Fire Department, and Saline County Rural Fire District #2 responded to the fire.

The sprayer, which was in for repairs, had been in the parking area for about two weeks. It is considered a total loss. Information on who the owner of the sprayer was not available Monday morning.

Sheriff Kochanowski said there were a couple of small explosions, after tires on the vehicle burst because of the heat.

A couple of tractors parked nearby also received some damage.
