E. Ann Coddington, 76, of Salina, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, at her residence in Salina. Mrs. Coddington was born Elizabeth Ann Williamson on Nov. 29, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of Wardie Clay and Callie B. (Garrett) Williamson.
Ann worked as an administrative assistant with Airgas for over 17 years, retiring in 2006.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Coddington, in 2010. Survivors include two daughters, Connie Pounds and husband Von, of Larned, and Penny Thompson and husband Steve, of Salina; her grandchildren and spouses, Megan and Mike McElroy, Nicole and Brett Haithcock, Jenny and Andy Hutchinson, Adam and Ashley Barlow-Thompson and Carli Thompson and Josh Ewert; and her great-grandchildren, Luke and Caleb McElroy and Grace, Drew and Bryce Hutchinson, and Prescott Clay Barlow-Thompson.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401, with the Rev. Ashley Prescott Barlow-Thompson officiating. Cremation has been chosen.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.

GLENDALE – Darvin Edward Muchow, 81, of Glendale, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014. He was born Dec. 22, 1932, in Lincoln County to Edward and Lois (Donley) Muchow.
Darvin went to Tescott High School. He was a volunteer for the Fire District No. 3 in Glendale, and was on the Glendale Township Board. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tescott. When he wasn’t farming, he loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends.
He married W. Gay Percival in Tescott on Dec. 20, 1952, they were married 61 years.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Gay, of the home; son, Rex and wife Joanne Muchow, of Glendale; daughter, Becky and husband Rick Bremerman, of Tescott; sister, Karen Lawson; brother, Marvin Muchow; grandchildren, Paul and wife Megan Muchow, Audrey Muchow, Allison and husband Mike Moore, Daniel Muchow, Mark and wife Laura Bremerman, Tim Bremerman, Joel Bremerman and Tessa Bremerman; great-grandchildren, Kara, Hunter, Erika, Lance, Kody, Jake, Dillon, Maddox, Ayden, Brodie and Logan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Aaron Muchow.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Ryan Mortuary in Salina. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tescott. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery in Tescott.

David Michael Towne, 67, of Salina, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014. He was born Nov. 4, 1946, in Junction City, the son of David and Nina (Strauss) Towne.
David was a retired master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, working as a space systems and weather technician. He also owned and operated The Smoke Shack in Salina for five years.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include a son, David (Stacy) Towne, of Wichita; daughter, Debora (Allen) Reed, of Maize; sister, Sammie Wormsbacher, of Salina; former wife, Cathy Towne, of Wichita; and six grandchildren, Aaron Wendell, David Towne, Ezrah Towne, Michael Hernandez, Joshua Reed, and Shane Reed.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today, with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at the mortuary, with burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
