A student reports the theft of his cell phone at Lakewood Middle School between 8am-9am Monday. Carlos Rodriquez-Espinoza said he left his I-Phone 5C with a friend as he was going into gym class. The friend lost the phone. Phone is valued at $500.
A counterfeit $20 bill is found in the bank deposit of Rod’s VI at 220 W. Magnolia. The bill was passed between October 17th, and October 20th. It was discovered in the the deposit at Bennington State Bank 2130 S. Ohio Monday.
A wallet with $300 cash, and a bag of clothing and a Nintendo DS was taken from a car owned by 17-year-old Chloe Dixon, while parked in the south parking lot at Salina Central High School between 2:15pm and 4:15pm Monday afternoon. The wallet and cash belonged to Dixon, the clothing and game are owned by 17-year-old Antonino Cooper.
Total loss is placed at $456.
A rural Salina teen is arrested Monday morning after being caught going through cars in the parking lot of a Doctor’s office. Police were sent to 520 S. Santa Fe, and found a teenager going through a car. After a short foot chase, 17-year-old Timothy James Collins Jr. was found to be in possession of cash and change and black electric tape taken from a car. The requested charge against Collins is one count of vehicle burglary.
