A 30-year-old McPherson woman was arrested Wednesday evening on requested charges of felony theft after she was caught shoplifting at several stores in the Central Mall.

Police Captain Chris Trocheck said Challas Wysocki was stopped when she tried to leave Dillard’s about 6:30 p.m.

Merchandise from Dillard’s, Victoria Secret’s, Bath and Body Works, J.C. Penney, and Maurice’s were found in a large purse.

The value of the stolen items totaled $611.
