
A Salina man was arrested Sunday in connection with two forged checks.
Police Captain Mike Sweeney said 36-year-old Bradley Holmes is alleged to have passed two forged checks on the account of a north Salina woman at Dillons, 2350 Planet, on September 17th. One in the amount of $83.67 and another in the amount of $375.
The owner of the checking account contacted authorities after discovering the checks were forged on her account. A subsequent investigation led to Holmes arrest.
Sweeney said Holmes was taken into custody Sunday afternoon at Value Inn, 1640 W. Crawford. Officers discovered that Holmes was in possession of personal use methamphetamine and a marijuana pipe at the time of his arrest.
He now faces multiple charges that include two counts of forgery, two counts of theft, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possesssion of drug paraphernalia, according to Sweeney.
