A Salina man is arrested Sunday for breaking into a home and taking the keys of a black 2006 Honda Ridgeline.

Police Captain Chris Trocheck said 21-year-old Malachi Lageman is alleged to have entered a home in the 200 block of Seitz between Thursday night and Friday morning and after taking keys and stealing the vehicle.

The vehicle was found behind the home of Lageman in the 100 block of E. Bond on Saturday, and it had been spray painted the color black. Damage to the vehicle caused by being painted was placed at $4,000.

Lageman was booked into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of aggravated residential burglary, felony theft, and damage to property.
