SOUND OFF

1. Why is it we lose channel 9 but our cable bill doesn’t go down? And maybe when Wichita has bad weather everyone should get credit on their cox bill.

2. Just drove past a load of people getting tickets for no seat belts, on my motorcycle with no helmet. How twisted is that?

3. Why are people smoking in taxi cabs when it’s a state law you can not smoke in them?

4. With regards to the bicycle riders, especially the ones on Ohio St: It would be nice if parents would teach their kids and police would enforce traffic laws to stop them riding against traffic, cutting across intersections, not using hand signals and generally disobeying all the rules of the road that everybody has to. And that is more for their safety than it is anything. Thank you.

5. Yeah, I just wanted to know, about 3 months ago the City Manager was speaking about fixing railroad tracks. When are they going to fix the ones over on South Street. I’m tired of going through that set of tracks at 3 MPH and still hitting my head on the headboard.

6. Can we change the personalized vehicle tag design? The one they use is UGLY!

7. There are 164 days until we can vote out this worthless president that we have. How long until we can vote out 3 of our city commissioners?

8. I see Wednesday on television with Cox cable, that we’ve lost another channel. Channel 9 out of Kansas City. Looking back over a number of years, we’ve lost Channel 13, and we’ve lost Channel 9 now. Once again we pay more per month and we get less channels. They don’t even replace them with something else. More money again.

9. Just wait, at the next city commission meeting, bicyclists are going to be the next protected class.
