Hot and dry conditions are expected to persist across the area through much of the upcoming week. A few locations across central and western Kansas may reach or exceed 110 degrees.

Heat Advisories remain in effect for much of the area through Wednesday.

Today: Sunny and hot, with a high near 107. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 8 to 11 mph increasing to between 18 and 21 mph. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 77. South wind between 14 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
